It all comes back one day… so here we are, our beloved 70’s flared jeans are back in business! Take a look on how to combine them in 2017, where to buy them, and how to chose the perfect pair to match your body…
This time, the 2017 spring and summer trend doesn’t come from the runways… the flared jeans are a true street syle! Selena Gomez, Miranda Kerr, Victoria Beckham, Jessica Alba, Karlie Kloss… they all got their pair out of the wardrobe…
To be honest, I’m not even surprised… At the moment, it’s all about the sandhour figure and there is no other jeans that fit’s so perfectly with that than the flared jeans! So thank god, we finally say godbye to the skinny jeans and hello flares!

The flared jeans is very versatile… either boho or city chic, with sneakers or high heels. You can do whatever you want! Just be careful to add a little classy piece to make it more modern…
The flared jeans is perfect with a bodysuit! I love wearing mine with a sexy black lace bodysuit when going out…
Or you directly wear your swimsuit with your pair of jeans…
I love to wear a crop top to the flared jeans to give it a little boho chic. Combine it with your designer tote and your ray ban aviator glasses and you have the perfect look!
Or else you give it a little french touch with red statement lips and the french sailor shirt…
So next step: go right to the store and get your own if you don’t have one! But be careful to chose a pair that fits your body. Some tipps:
- If you have some little muffin tops, better chose a high waist. The low waist would just cut your hips and accentuate what you want to hide. Avoid a pair with too much stretch, no skinny upper leg and take the size that fits without making folds, else you will look like a ham…
- The skinny ones can take whatever they want, but they will look perfect in a low cut waist flared jeans, with skinny upper leg…
- You don’t have much booty? No prob, take your pair with low positioned back pockets…
- The opposite is the case, you have too much booty? Take the flared jeans with medium sized pockets, in a normal to low back position.
- Hourglass figure? Lucky you!! The flared jeans are made for you! But please avoid the bootcut, take a high waist that accentuates your shape, with small or medium size back pockets in low or medium position.
Have fun!!
